Fulbright Austria’s mission is to promote mutual understanding, cooperation, and knowledge transfer between the peoples of Austria and the United States by creating opportunities for academic and cultural exchange for US and Austrian citizens.

We fulfill this mission by:

  • coordinating programs for US and Austrian students, scholars, and teaching assistants to study, research, and teach
  • funding and administering scholarships for Fulbright Austria's programs
  • establishing and nurturing partnerships with US and Austrian host institutions
